Open-source electronics and PCB design with KiCad
Find yourself staring at the colorful spaghetti on your breadboard, wondering how you’re going to fit it into your latest project without it falling apart? Spending hours chasing that one wrongly placed drop of solder on your stripboard creation? Then this is the workshop for you! We’ll cover how to draw up your schematics in the open-source tool KiCad, using both standard library components and user-defined components. Then, we’ll see how to create a printed circuit board (PCB) design from the schematic, and how to have it manufactured by a board house. The skills from this workshop will help you take your projects to the next level of reliability, reproducibility and compactness.
