Have you ever seen a concert with Saxophone, Mallets and Drums together?

This project is a collaboration between three musicians from the Conservatory of Amsterdam. Together, they bring different musical backgrounds and strengths, creating a group that is both versatile and expressive.

Project Escape is really about the conversation between the instruments and how they share space in the music.It's really about what is happening the notes — listening to each other, feeling connected, and creating something together in the moment. Most of the music in this program comes from pieces originally written for saxophone and mallets. When we added drums, we started to hear new colors, grooves, and connections in the music. It changed the feeling of the repertoire in a very natural way, and helped us find a kind of in-the-pocket flow where even small musical moments can feel open and spacious.
