Mental wellbeing. It's one of those ambigious terms we see thrown around all over the place. The world tells you to manage your stress levels; balance your mind; overcome your anxiety. Even though there is some value to this, more often than not you are taught quick fixes for a problem that you apparently have. Even though most of us don't really have a problem; we would just like to feel a little better.
That's why we decided to organize a mental wellbeing challenge. Not for people with a problem, but for everyone who wants to take just a bit better care off their mental hygiene. During this challenge you'll learn techniques and exercises that will help you get a better grip on your stress-level and psychological wellbeing. From time management, to mindfulness, to movement. If it works, we'll share it!
Concretely this means that every day we will share a short video (5-10 min) combined with an exercise that you can implement straight away. You will also have the opportunity to share your exeperiences with other students.
The challenge will be hosted by Marian Blaaugeers from 'the happy student' (https://gelukkigestudent.nl/) platform. She is an expert in the area of student wellbeing and has hosted many workshops and events on this topic, making her the perfect host for this challenge.
