Samantha Turner (she/her) is a career civil servant, an intrepreneur, and professional facilitator that most recently served as a Senior Advisor at the US Agency for International Development in Washington DC, and prior to that the Command Gender Advisor at the US European Command, Stuttgart Germany. A civil engineer by training, her current work in the Women, Peace, and Security space consists of simplifying the intricate as she works to educate national security leaders on the benefits of inclusive leadership and promoting diversity. She has become a go-to practitioner within the US Government, and a thought leader on the future of human-centered design in diplomatic development and military operations.

Join us for “Gender Perspective: It’s not extra, it’s essential!” a session that will give you the basics of how to account for and integrate gender equality into your everyday life! goals relating to gender.

• A basic process that will help you assess, connect, and design gender considerations into any project.

• Tools and Techniques for implementation that will help you make whatever you are planning better.
