This evening, the graduation short film Humming in the Dark by Wynona Bakker from the Willem de Kooning Academy, will be screened at Kino in Rotterdam!
A short, experimental film about escapism, fleeing from reality and self-acceptance. In this deeply personal film, Blanca Beaumont expresses her own fantasy and trauma by starring in her own fairy tale. Haunted by trauma, a young woman tries to escape reality. In a journey toward self-acceptance, she is confronted with both her dreams and fears.
Prepare yourself for an audio-visual dance narrative and be swept away in an escapist fairy tale. A limited amount of tickets is available so secure yourself of a spot at the premiere by buying a ticket as soon as possible. The film will be screened in 2 shifts during the screening time.

You can choose which screening you want to attend. Be there, in Kino Room 3, 5 minutes before the screening starts.
PLEASE NOTE: the 1.5 meter rules are gone, but you will be asked to show a valid PCR test OR a QR code at the event. I regret that this has to be done but unfortunately have no choice in this, so that's just the way it is. I hope for your understanding and cooperation!
