Over dit evenement
Background information
In December 2020 the European Climate Pact (ECP) was launched. The ECP is a program from the European Green Deal to inform and activate all societal stakeholders in Europe to act on climate and environment and to find new synergies and networks. On Thursday the 25th of February 19:00-21:00 the ECP-ambassadors in the Netherlands will host their satellite event. The goal of the event is to learn, discuss and matchmake how the European Climate Pact can improve the existing EU/Dutch networks and initiatives for climate and environment.
Program
During the event the European Commission will inform you of the European Climate pact and the European Green Deal. Next, the Dutch ambassadors briefly explain why they have become an ambassador and what they want to achieve in 2021. Then we have a panel discussion on how the European Climate Pact could boost current actions in the Netherlands and complements with new actions and collaborations that transcend borders. Lastly, multiple break-out rooms are created to get in touch with other participants working on the same theme, region or group of people. We expect a diverse audience of companies, NGO’s, civil servants and active citizens that care about our planet and communities.
