Join us for the 2nd edition of “This time, Amersfoort” ! A vibrant meet-up dedicated to communication, cultural integration, and building meaningful connections across borders and backgrounds. Whether you’ve just arrived in the Netherlands or you’ve been navigating this multicultural life for years, this is your space to learn, exchange, grow, and laugh (very important!).

This event is your grand New Year’s entrance into a community of internationals, coaches, and globally minded professionals across the Netherlands.

Why I created this — and why I want you there

Hi, I’m Krystal, an Intercultural Strategy Partner and the founder of WayBeyond Coaching. WayBeyond was born from a simple belief: when people understand each other across cultures and backgrounds, collaboration becomes limitless.

To give back to the coaching and international community, I’m hosting these meet-ups right here in my lovely home city of Amersfoort. The vision? A growing platform where coaches, clients, and international professionals can find each other naturally — through connection, conversation, and genuine word-of-mouth trust. (Think of it like a dating platform… but for coaches!)

13:00–13:25 — Warm-up connection activities with Krystal

Let’s dial in together with light, energizing games to break the ice (the non-cringy kind)!

13:25–14:10 — Keynote speech with Q&A by Rossella Daví

Relocation realities, housing in the Dutch market, and essential guidance for international employees and employers.

14:10–14:20 — Short break

In between— A Wellness Station sponsored by Level Thirtyfour

When life starts moving faster, instead of matching it's pace, you choose to steady your own. With Chill from Level Thirtyfour, you will be able to stay grounded and focused from early morning ambition to late night reflection. Stop by our wellness station to recharge your energy and meet the world on your own terms.

14:20–15:20 — Panel discussion “Who are we to ourselves, and who are we to those around us?” together with Elena Malkova, Elizabeth Njeru, and Nuthan Manohar

A powerful conversation with experts from different fields, exploring cultural identity and what true integration looks like. We’ll close the panel with tangible tips for companies aiming to support international talent while fostering psychological safety.

15:20- 15:30 — Another short break

15:30 — TBD — The Happiness City Walk with Nuthan Manohar

A guided walk through the heart of Amersfoort with our partner Nuthan, founder of The Happiness Walk — the perfect way to end the afternoon grounded and connected.

How to get there:

Our venue is located right in the Amersfoort Central Station building, so the best way to get there is via NS trains. If you come by car, you can easily find parking spots at the Argonaut parking garage, which is located 100 meters from Amersfoort Central Station. Once you are at the Amersfoort Central Train Station, please watch the short clip for further instructions: watch here!
