Tijdens de afgelopen VN-conferentie over klimaatverandering in Glasgow is 'A Catalogue of Nature-Based Solutions for Urban Resilience’ officieel gelanceerd. Felixx Landscape Architects & Planners heeft deze catalogus samen met de Wereldbank ontwikkeld, met medewerking van verschillende andere partijen.

Ondanks de wereldwijd groeiende vraag naar Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) in steden, hebben planners en politici nog steeds beperkte kennis over wanneer en hoe te bouwen met de natuur. De NBS-catalogus biedt begeleiding, praktijkvoorbeelden en technische ondersteuning bij het identificeren van haalbare nature-based investeringen die de weerbaarheid van steden vergroten.

Auteurs Michiel Van Driessche en Eduardo Marin Salinas zullen tijdens dit webinar op 17 februari 2022 van 16.00-17.00 uur de NBS-Catalogus toelichten, voorbeeldprojecten bespreken en de relevantie van NBS op stadsschaal bepleiten.

Felixx’ ‘Catalogue of Nature-Based Solutions for Urban Resilience’ was officially launched at last UN Climate Change Conference in Glasgow. Felixx Landscape Architects & Planners developed this catalogue together with The World Bank, with the participation of several other parties.

Despite a growing demand for Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) in cities, many people who make planning, financing, and technical decisions for urban resilience have little knowledge of when, and how to build with nature. Our NBS-catalogue provides them with a guidance, real-world examples that illustrate how such approaches have worked, and technical assistance to help identify potentially viable nature-based investments that help cities address resilience challenges.

Authors Michiel Van Driessche and Eduardo Marin Salinas will explain the NBS Catalogue during this webinar, discuss sample projects, and the relevance of NBS at the city scale.
