Looking to get some serious traction with your technology startup? One of the tried and tested methods is public relations. Not only can it attract customers, but the right public relations also invokes trust and credibility in the market. Investors will be more likely to invest in your company when they read about it in the press.
In our experience as media professionals, startup founders make the same rookie mistakes. In this introductory PR workshop, you will learn the basics of startup pr. How to approach the media, and what kinds of stories are they looking for? After this workshop, you feel confident and empowered to run your first very own pr campaign.

- What journalists look for in a story
- What items need to be included in a press kit
The workshop will be lead by Silicon Canals’ founder and publisher, Remco Janssen. He’s a technology media veteran and seasoned pr expert, having mentored, trained, and consulted for over 200 startups in Europe. His pr workshops have been previously featured by The Next Web, Accenture, B. Amsterdam, and Startupbootcamp.
