In her second solo show at TMH, Elsa Tomkowiak (FR, 1981) reflects on our physical experience and her personal journey to expand the spatial possibilities of painting and color. Alluding to natural phenomena, her works unfold as joyous encounters that summon ecological reflection.

Tomkowiak is sought after as a reinterpreter of public venues, of communal and museum spaces. Most recently her paintings and color objects transformed the Château-Musée de Tournon-sur-Rhône, the Basilique Saint-Vincent de Metz, and the Angers University Hospital in France, as well as ARTZUID 2019 in Amsterdam.
