TNL! In the Works: The Staged Reality of Disney
Event Information
About this Event
Participants of this TNL! event can discuss the upcoming exhibition Disney: The Architecture of Staged Realities (opening May 2021 at Het Nieuwe Instituut) with the team behind it: curator Saskia van Stein, spatial designer Frédérique Albert-Bordenave and graphic designer Irene Stracuzzi. The exhibition will explore the impact of Walt Disney’s cultural heritage on our identity and built environment.
Curator Saskia van Stein researched the impact of Walt Disney's cultural heritage on our identity and our built environment. With the exhibition Disney: The Architecture of Staged Realities, which will open in May 2021, this research is given form by spatial designer Frédérique Albert-Bordenave and graphic designer Irene Stracuzzi. What ideas and ideals underlie the world that Disney presents us? How to make a choice between the different storylines and perspectives?
