Motormond invites you to our exciting program: To Interrupt, To Punctuate at Heesterveld 46 on May 25 at 19:00.This program mixes performances and a film, thus creating reflective interruptions and punctuations in a narrative set against contemporary conflicts in an African country. This is a great opportunity to experience a novel format, and at the same time have an interesting and entertaining evening.The film we will be screening is Neptune Frost. It is a 2021 science fiction romantic musical film co-directed by Saul Williams and Anisia Uzeyman. A group of escaped coltan miners forms an anti-colonialist computer hacker collective in the hilltops of Burundi. They soon attempt a takeover of the authoritarian regime that&#x27;s exploiting the region&#x27;s natural resources -- and its people.The contributing performers are multi-disciplinary artist Rah Naqvi, Poet Sunni Lamin Barrow and performance artist Kenza Badi.
