Transformation Digital Art 2026
Overview
LI-MA – Living Media Art proudly presents the 10th edition of Transformation Digital Art, the annual international symposium dedicated to the preservation and future of digital art taking place on 26 and 27 March 2026. Across two days of talks, conversations, case studies, and workshops, contributors from around the world will share insights, test ideas, and imagine new models for sustaining digital artworks in an age shaped by platforms, infrastructures, and rapidly evolving tools.
Theme
This anniversary edition focuses on networks as structures of collaboration, care, and trust. How can artists, museums, and communities work within these interconnected environments while safeguarding autonomy, accessibility, and creative vitality? From online platforms to social infrastructures, from distributed archives to networks of care, the symposium examines how digital art both depends on and challenges the networked world.
The symposium programme includes keynote lectures, panel discussions,, and hands-on workshops (workshop registration will open soon).
Limited Early Bird Tickets
A limited number of discounted early bird passepartout tickets are now available, giving access to both days of the symposium. Early bird pricing is available for one month only. Day tickets, student tickets, and workshop registrations will be released at a later date.
The event will be held in English. More information can be found on our website: http://li-ma.nl/article/transformation-digital-art-2026
