Ready to explore The Netherlands with great company? Join Dana and a bunch of other expats on a fun day trip to Leiden, one of the country’s most charming cities. We will discover the beautiful city centre and visit the Naturalis Museum together. It’s the perfect chance to make new friends and enjoy a day of adventure.

Tickets & AIC Card:
- 3€ Participation fee if you own the AIC Card. Get your AIC Card. Click here
- 5€ Participation fee for all the others
- Bring your own Bank Card or NS card to pay for the transport, and bring your Museum Card or buy the museum ticket
- Participation fee is not refundable
- The participation fee does not include food or drinks or local transport.
How does it work
We meet at 11:45 sharp. Don't forget that we have a train to catch!
Transportation: NS Train, 2nd class from Amsterdam Central to Leiden.
Once arrived we will have lunch at a chosen by the group. Feel free to bring your own lunch or grab something nearby if you prefer. After lunch, we’ll take a relaxing walk through the city center to explore Leiden’s main sights. Then, we’ll visit the Naturalis Biodiversity Center, which is a fascinating natural history museum and a research center on biodiversity with over 42 million specimens. It is one of the largest natural history collections in the world. The museum visit is optional, if you’d rather grab a coffee, go shopping or do your own thing during that time, it’s totally fine!
