Let op! Dit evenement is verplaatst naar Theater aan het Spui.Tijdens dit evenement vindt de eerste editie plaats van het Try-Out Festival, de aftrap van het festivalseizoen waar je vier korte voorstellingen voor het allereerst kunt zien, gemaakt door een nieuwe generatie theatermakers. Je ziet een muzikale performance van Koen ter Braak, een beeldende voorstelling over 'vergeten dieren' van Thor Braun, een fysieke performance van Folashade Ilemobade over identiteit en een solo van Gijs Radix over privilege, activisme en maatschappelijke verantwoordelijkheid. Elke voorstelling duurt een half uur en tussendoor is er verse friet, zomerse drankjes in de avondzon bij het Open Paviljoen en na afloop live muziek. Het Open Paviljoen is een plek voor ontmoeting, uitwisseling en verbeelding. Van 13 juni tot en met 19 juli 2026 bieden we ruimte aan een cultureel programma met workshops, gesprekken, performances en lezingen. Lokale initiatieven, nationale stemmen en internationale denkers ontmoeten elkaar in een open setting waarin kunst niet alleen wordt getoond, maar actief onze samenleving vormt. ENG This event marks the first edition of the Try-Out Festival, the opening of the festival season where you can see four short performances for the very first time, created by a new generation of theatre makers.You will see a musical performance by Koen ter Braak, a visual performance about ‘forgotten animals’ by Thor Braun, a physical performance by Folashade Ilemobade about identity, and a solo by Gijs Radix about privilege, activism, and social responsibility. Each performance lasts half an hour, and in between there will be fresh fries, summer drinks in the evening sun at the Open Paviljoen, and live music afterwards. The Open Paviljoen is a place for encounter, exchange, and imagination. From 13 June to 19 July 2026, it will host a cultural programme featuring workshops, conversations, performances, and lectures. Local initiatives, national voices, and international thinkers come together in an open setting where art is not only presented, but actively shapes our society.
