Two-Day Experience: Ceremonial Cacao & Mayan Wisdom
For the first time on their European tour, Tata Walter, Mayan spiritual guide and Day Keeper of the Kaqchikel Nation of Guatemala, and Florencia Fridman, co-founder of Cacao Laboratory, are bringing their ancestral teachings to Amsterdam for a rare two-day experience.
Together, they invite you into the living tradition of ceremonial cacao and the wisdom of the sacred Mayan calendar. Rather than learning about these practices through interpretation, this is an opportunity to learn directly from those who have dedicated their lives to preserving and sharing them with integrity.
Whether you join for one day or both, each experience offers a meaningful introduction to the Maya cosmovision and the cultural roots of ceremonial cacao.
Day 1 · Ceremonial Cacao Journey
24 July | 19:00–21:00
An evening dedicated to ceremonial cacao within its original cultural context.
Together, we'll share ceremonial cacao while exploring its history, physical and energetic qualities, and its sacred role within the Maya tradition. Through stories, symbolism, and guided meditation, you'll be invited to deepen your relationship with cacao as a respected cultural and spiritual practice.
Day 2 · Immersive Experience: Cacao & Mayan Wisdom
25 July | 10:00–18:00
A full-day immersion into ancestral Mayan wisdom.
The day includes a traditional opening cleansing, discovering your personal Nahual, learning the sacred Cholq'ij calendar, ceremonial cacao, guided meditation, reality creation practices, and an integration circle designed to support reflection and embodied understanding.
Optional Private Session · Sip & ReflectFlorencia Fridman will also offer a limited number of Sip & Reflect private sessions.
These intimate 60-minute conversations provide space to explore a personal intention, life transition, dream, or challenge while working with ceremonial cacao in a one-to-one setting.
Only two sessions are available on Friday and two on Saturday.
