Over the course of 2021 and 2022, we have collaboratively produced 7 multimedia stories and campaigns about the future of Europe in light of the Conference on the Future of Europe, with young people in underreported countries across Europe: Cyprus, Northern Ireland, Greenland, Hungary, Estonia, Romania and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

These stories and campaigns offer a unique vantage point of what young people in envision for the future of Europe, and the untold stories of people living in countries in and around Europe today. The participants of these sprint weeks have worked together to produce a platform for local, immersive multimedia stories and impactful campaigns about the most pressing issues of our time and their ideas about our collective future - and we want to share them with you at the Untold Stories Closing Event!

When: Sunday 5 June 2022 from 16:00-19:00 CET

Where: RESET in Brussels, Belgium.

Who: The event is FREE and open to the public but you must RSVP by reserving an Eventbrite ticket no later than 3 June.

DE/MO (de Kiesmannen) will host the evening and together with the participants of the 7 sprint weeks, present the project and findings, introduce you to some of the young creatives behind these stories, and discuss the subjects and proposals with 2-3 MEPs forming a central feedback process from the Untold Stories project to the Conference on the Future of Europe.

The Untold Stories Closing Event will feature:

• First looks at the stories and campaigns created in the 7 countries by the creators themselves
• Screenings of videos and photo series produced over the past 9 months
• Musical and spoken word performances
• A unique opportunity to connect with a pan-European network of young journalists and creatives
• Drinks and celebrations to follow!
