Of course! Update evenings are great for creating memories together as friends. Additionally, bringing a person you know can make you feel more secure when you are surrounded by people you haven't met yet. Just a quick tip: you are here to meet people, so be open to talk to new people :)

I am in a relationship, but UpDate looks like a lot of fun! Can I still join?

Most of our events aim to save people from the superficiality of dating apps and the boredom of normal speed dates. However, sometimes we organise UpDate events aimed at meeting new people in a social, non-dating way. For Future Social UpDate events, you can check our website :)

Are there also UpDate events for the LGBTQ community?

Yes, we have done them in the past and plan to do them again in the future! Keep an eye on our event calendar or enroll in our newsletter to stay up-to-date!

My question isn’t in the FAQ. What do I do?

Accepted Answer

In situations like this, it is important to stay calm and not to panic. It can help to take a deep breath, light some incense, and make a cup of tea (personally, we often rely on rooibos in times of crisis).
