Join us for a cozy, creative afternoon in Amsterdam where you’ll learn the basics of urban sketching and bring your city scene to life with watercolour.

This workshop is perfect for beginners (and anyone who wants to loosen up their drawing style) : we’ll guide you step-by-step in a relaxed setting, with plenty of time to learn, create, and connect.

In this 2–2.5 hour session, you’ll learn how to sketch simple buildings with confidence: breaking shapes down, adding perspective in an easy way, and creating charming details without overthinking it. Then we’ll move into watercolour: light washes, layering colour, and adding shadows and highlights to make your sketch feel warm and alive. You’ll work from a reference, but you’ll have freedom to personalise your piece :colours, little details, and your own style.

Expect a warm atmosphere, a cozy table setup, sweet treats and soft drinks, and gentle guidance throughout & plus time to chat and meet like-minded creatives.
