This quarter we’ll be reading Catch-22 by Joseph Heller, a satirical war novel published in 1961. Heller was a pilot during WW2, and his book captures the absurdity of war and military life. The book has occasionally been banned in the USA due to profanity and sexual references.
Let’s explore the work and its context together.
We’ll be meeting twice:
- Thursday, September 11th, 12:45pm: Introduction and book distribution in the Nook (TUD Library)
- Thursday, October 16th, 7:00pm: book discussion in the Nook (TUD Library)
