Walking Tour | Sittard-Geleen Welcome Activity

Discover the historic heart of Sittard during a relaxed and engaging guided walking tour that brings the city’s stories, architecture, and hidden corners to life.

Our local guide, Theo Timmermans, will show you the most important sights of Sittard's historic city centre.

The two-hour walking tour starts at 14:00 sharp in the Jardin d'Isabelle garden (one of the city's secret gardens at the Kerkepad in Sittard).

From there, the route will take you through the charming streets and ramparts of the former fortress town, revealing the rich heritage that has shaped the city over the centuries.

The tour will end at the Market Square, where you’ll have an opportunity to sit down and relax with a drink at one of the local bars.
