Join us for an informal live talk and networking event centred around the topic of Queer Leadership, Social Innovation and DEI (Diversity, Equity &amp; Inclusion). Speakers will offer their queer perspectives and personal stories while exploring different ways visibility, story-telling and self-leadership continue to be much needed catalysts for driving important dialogue, LGBTQ+ acceptance, and wider social change - locally and globally. She founded Massey Media to amplify the voices of changemakers, and her startup, freeQ, is all about giving queer talent the spotlight they deserve. From crafting bold brands at Strat.UP to celebrating LGBTQ+ magic, she is here to build connections and inspire action. With her global community of creative collaborators, she is excited to help bring your impact-driven dreams to life with heart, sparkle, and purpose. For the past five years, she has held various sales roles at JTI. Barbara is also Co-Chair of the JTI PRIDE ERG BeNeLux and serves as a Women of Pride Ambassador for Western Europe. She organizes queer women’s events under the name Sidechick. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time at the beach.<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/karimeloteify/" title="https://www.wecreatespace.co/team/karim-el-oteify" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Karim El Oteify (he/him)</a> is the Founder and CEO of The Wheels of Impact, specializing in DEI, communication, and change management to foster employee engagement and inclusivity. Through storytelling, tailored workshops, and consultancy, he combines empathy, expertise, and facilitation to drive meaningful transformation. Originally from Cairo and now based in the Netherlands for over six years, Karim’s work reflects his commitment to sustainable change and equity. He founded Assist NL to support the international community and led ErasmusX’s communications, amplifying its team’s diversity as a strength. He also contributed to Diverse Leaders in Tech, promoting representation through community building.<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/dondominic/" title="https:// https://www.wecreatespace.co/team/don-dominic" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Don Dominic (he/him)</a> is currently the Global DEI Manager at Henkel, a multinational company. In his role, Don is dedicated to fostering equitable workplaces for all, regardless of gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, nationality, disabilities, and other identities. Originally from Kerala, India, where he was born into a Catholic family, Don lived in Singapore for nearly 11 years before moving to Amsterdam, where he has resided for the past 7 years. Alongside his DEI work, Don is also a certified yoga teacher and is passionate about spirituality and an animal lover. Don is an advocate for LGBTQ+ inclusion in the workplace, intersectionality, addressing microaggressions, and promoting inclusive, empathetic leadership through vulnerability.
