About this event
OSINT in law enforcement investigations: Buy, Build or Both?
It is important to have a diverse skill set in your OSINT team, as well as a broad knowledge base. One of the current trends in OSINT is to build your own OSINT tooling. But is the effort of building your own tools worth the time being spent or should you rather buy an OSINT platform such as Maltego? Or both?
On May 24th at 15:30 Henri Beek from DataExpert and Steffen Iwan from Maltego will be discussing this matter in a joint webinar.
They will answer the following questions:
- How to create and maintain a diverse skill set for your OSINT team?
- Why is a good knowledge base important even though tooling is used?
- Which areas of investigations should be done with self-built tools?
- Which areas of investigations should be done in Maltego?
- What are advantages of having own tools?
- What are advantages of using Maltego?
This will be a hands-on webinar, in which you will see real life cases of OSINT investigations and how they can be solved either manually with self-built tools or within the Maltego platform.
