Is your child/student not getting the development they need? Are they unable to adapt to the curriculum, pace, classmates, or teachers for various reasons—because they learn and process information differently? Would it be better for their well-being to step away from that environment for now and follow a different kind of education in a different way?
Naturally, your child/student wants to and is perfectly capable of continuing their development—with digital remote education and guidance that schools can purchase from UStudy Academy as a tailor-made solution for each individual student. This has long been allowed under current legislation, and opportunities for this will only expand in the future (e.g., the Digital School subsidy scheme and changes to the Compulsory Education Act and the Varia Act). Internationally accredited primary and secondary education, where students rediscover the joy of learning and gain confidence in themselves—within an alternative online education system based on an American curriculum. Our innovative, project-based learning especially appeals to children who are (gifted) (U)HB, neurodivergent, or have experienced school-related trauma. Regardless of background, academic level, or English proficiency—everyone is welcome!
We support not only the child/student, but also the parents, as well as the original school or the regional Collaborative Partnership (Samenwerkingsverband) they fall under.
Your child/student receives unlimited access to:
• Their personal learning platform, including speech technology, dictionary, and English-to-Dutch translation tools
• Our projects & personalized feedback
• Our subject teachers
• Their own mentor (for academic progress and well-being)
• Their own study and career advisor (Dutch-speaking)
• Our technical support staff
• Our “social community” with other UStudy Academy students. Parents also receive access to a dedicated platform to monitor progress and connect with other parents in the UStudy Academy community.
Two learning options to choose from:
- Asynchronous, student-led learning
- Synchronous, live online classes at set times with dedicated teachers
Students can start a course on any day of the year and complete it within 1–10 months. If needed, UStudy Academy can provide access to a personal school psychologist, performance anxiety coach, grief counselor, mental performance coach, and private tutors.
