In my Group Weekly class, you will experience firsthand how deep you could go in a hypnotic trance and leave the space with a calmed and balance mind.

Each class combines holistic practices such as mindfulness meditation, gentle breathwork or yoga poses. Although a single session will provide deep rest, regular practice will help you build greater resilience to stress and anxiety.

In collaboration with Wellness aan de Zaan, this weekly class will be hosted at their Yoga studio at Zaanweg 100B.

What should I bring to the Workshop?

A water bottle that is not made with glass. Something that helps you to feel supported in a sitting or lying down position. (Yoga mats and blanks are available at the venue, but you may wanna bring a meditation cushion or bolster) Wear comfortable and layered clothing.

I’m new to Hypnosis & Sound Healing, is this class suitable for beginners?

Absolutely! The event is designed to be accessible and enjoyable to everyone. It is a guided experience that doesn’t require prior knowledge.

Will I sleep during the hypnosis part of the session?

No, you don’t sleep during hypnosis. The hypnotic state helps you to become more alert and concentrated. It enhances your experience and makes it easier to go inward. And you are always in control for the entire duration.

What are the contraindications for this session?

It's not suited for anyone who endures epilepsy, manic disorder, schizophrenia, seizures, use of antidepressants or any mood altering drug, acute somatic and viral diseases, chronic pulmonary and heart diseases. OR under the influence of alcohol, psychedelics, drugs or fasting for 48 hours or more.

Mengjia is a Mindful (Hypno)therapist. Through her own recovery process after abdominal surgery and burnout, she has developed a mindfulness-based framework to help people improve their well-being in a holistic way. She also harnesses the power of Hypnosis and BWRT (BrainWorking Recursive Therapy) for deeper and faster results.

Mengjia specialises in (but not limited to) anxiety and stress reduction, pain management, healing and boosting self-confidence. Her methods include a mindfulness approach where she tailors a wellbeing programme using breathwork, yoga, meditation and sound healing. She also uses her knowledge of Chinese tea ceremony to promote conscious and mindful living.

While Mindfulness remains the core, hypnotherapy is her most powerful tool for offering people solutions in a single session. It is a highly effective method that puts you in a trance, where your conscious mind comes to rest. This allows you to communicate directly with your subconscious, which is the centre of your emotions, memories and protective mechanisms. In just one powerful and magical session, you experience clarity, courage and healing.
