This is one of a 6 part series of workshops organized by Wheelrunner. In each workshop participants will be invited to come in with their bike and will be taught - in a very hands-on manner - how to perform the specific tasks of that workshop on their own bike.

The general idea of the Gear Tuning workshop is how to make gears on a road bike or mountain bike as good as possible. We will cover:
- basic understanding of how gears work
- the role of various parts in the function of your shifting
- fine-tuning front derailleurs
- fine-tuning rear derailleurs
- adjustment of limit screws
- adjustment of B-crews
- crimping and finishing
- Note: due to its time-consuming nature we not cover the replacement of internal shifter cables

Workshops are open to 10 participants, and will be hosted by 2 people from Wheelrunner. If one of the workshops proves especially popular we might add a second date. Workshop price includes instruction, tea, coffee, snacks,a nd usage of tools. Components, tools, replacement parts are not included in the price.
