With Christmas Labyrinth likes to indulge you with a flavoursome soul food dinner, the kind that mama used to make. But this time it&#x27;s Miss Haviland who&#x27;s going to prepare you this luxurious 4-course dinner, because we prefer to give mama a break. And mixologist Sam, one of the best mixologist in Amsterdam will make you exquisite Christmas Cocktails, the kind that you have not tasted before. But this white elephant part?? You don&#x27;t have to dress up as a white elephant or wear your ugly Christmas sweater. We only expect all guests to bring one gift. Your own white elephant gift * and to leave it under Labyrinth&#x27;s Christmas tree. You can select something funny, inconvenient or a gift with a story you received yourself before, wrap it and bring it for another guest, and the story telling begins....Christmas Menu:Aperitif .............Caribbean Prawn or &#x27;Calamari&#x27;* Cocktail served with pineapple, avocado, red chili, baby greens* hearts of palm ( vegetarian)………… ‘Red Pea’ Soup Red beans, coconut milk, Madame Jeanette pepper					…..........Stuffed Baby Poussin thyme, rosemary, triple sec Or Vegetarian Wellington sweet potato, chestnut, red pepper pastry crustserved with plantain fritter and roasted fennel................ Although it is indicated that dinner starts at 18:00 hours , it is not a necessity to arrive this time. We only ask you to make a reservation via www.labyrinthamsterdam.nl to inform us the time you will arrive , with how many persons you will be and if you have any specific diet requirements or allergies we need to know of. White Elephant Gift * *The term white elephant refers to an extravagant, but impractical, gift that cannot be easily disposed of. The phrase is said to come from the historic practice of the King of Siam (now Thailand) giving rare albino elephants to courtiers who had displeased him, so that they might be ruined by the animals&#x27; upkeep costs. The goal of a &#x27;white elephant gift exchange is to entertain party-goers rather than to gain a genuinely valuable or highly sought-after item.
