Welcome to my community. It’s an honor to have you here as we explore the depths of yoga, mindfulness, meditation, and timeless wisdom traditions together. In this space, I’ll share talks, meditations, and practices that you can apply to your daily life. You’re invited to engage directly with me, ask questions, and seek guidance as we support each other on our paths to personal growth and self-discovery.

The theme for this month's (July 12th) online zoom meeting is: “Why We Numb: Meeting the Emotions We Avoid" In this session, we’ll gently explore the ways we disconnect from ourselves — not because we’re broken or weak, but because at some point, feeling became too much. Together, we’ll begin to notice the strategies we’ve developed to avoid pain, and how we can start meeting what lies underneath with warmth and curiosity.

This meeting will be a safe space for you to reflect, share, and explore how to first welcome the pain that you've been holding onto. Only by fully acknowledging and allowing ourselves to feel it can we begin the process of gently letting it go.This meeting is open to all, no matter where you are on your spiritual journey. Whether you’re just beginning to explore or have been on this path for years, you are warmly invited to join.

Through guided practices and reflection, we’ll explore:

✔ Why numbing is often a protective response, not a problem to fix.

✔ How avoidance shows up — through busyness, overthinking, scrolling, or even spiritual bypassing.

✔ How to safely begin feeling what’s been pushed aside.

✔ What it means to stay with yourself through difficult emotion, without being overwhelmed.

What You Can Expect:

✨ A grounding guided meditation to arrive in your body.

✨ A talk exploring the roots of emotional numbing.

✨ Simple movement or breath practices to support presence.

✨ Inquiry and journaling prompts to help you reconnect with what wants to be felt.

✨ Time for sharing, reflection, and Q&A in a welcoming, non-judgmental space.
