Overview
As cities around the world face mounting crises - climate change, traffic congestion and growing inequity - the need for bold, people-first solutions has never been greater. Enter the women leading the charge.
Hosted in partnership with Juliana Goncalves from the Department of Urbanism at BK, join us for an evening of celebration and discussion for our new book, Women Changing Cities: Global stories of urban transformation, highlight the groundbreaking work of female mayors, planners, advocates, and policymakers in reshaping urban spaces for the better.
Following a look at the real-world success stories and powerful insights found in the book, the evening will feature a provocative dialogue with current and emerging women leaders from the Netherlands who are continuing the work to reclaim streets, reimagine mobility, and design safer, more inclusive public spaces.
