Workshop: Botanical Sketching for Confident Beginners+

Come take some creative time for yourself and relax whilst learning a quick and fun technique for sketching colourful blooms, whether in the field or at home.

This is my favourite fast and loose way of recording flowers, whether it's a bouquet or a single stem.

Whether you're an experienced artist or have tried painting or sketching at home or in a previous workshop, I'll have some fresh tips and tricks for you to discover.

We’ll provide everything for you to learn useful techniques under the guidance of illustrator Laura Carter.

We'll be using graphite pencils and watercolour paints, for a no-pressure way to capture the beauty you see. You'll also take home a printed guide with tips and examples.
