Workshop: Dutch in Progress

What to expect:

• A warm introduction in Dutch (with English translation) to set the tone.
• Practice useful Dutch phrases such as “Hoe gaat het?” and “Lekker weertje!” along with common filler words, giving you cultural context along with language skills.
• An interactive format — you can participate or simply listen; the emphasis is on creating a safe and welcoming space to learn at your own pace.
• At the end, receive a free download of “Feel More Confident Learning Dutch” with practical tips to boost your language journey.
• Plenty of time for your questions throughout — the more you ask, the better!
  

Whether you’re just starting or looking to brush up your Dutch, this workshop is a great way to connect language and culture meaningfully.

Speaker Bio:

Leuk je te ontmoeten! (Nice to meet you!) Ieke Koopmans helps expats feel more at home in the Netherlands through language, culture, and nature. Her passion is making the Dutch language and culture accessible, friendly, and fun to learn.

🛣️ Route: The best way to reach Frequency Work Lounger is by Tram and Bike. It is 190 meters from the Laan van ‘s-Gravenmade tram stop, which serves Tram 15 and Bus 30. Additionally, the location can be reached via 400 meters from Rijswijk, Broekpolder, which serves Tram 1.For bikers, Google Maps does a poor job of providing efficient directions. So we are sharing the most direct routes below.Bike parking is conveniently located next to the main entrance, with additional parking available to the left side of the building.
