Come learn the basics of Drypoint Etching in our hands-on workshop on Saturday 11th April at 10:00 AM!

Welcome to the deliciously inky world of drypoint etching. We’ll introduce you to the basics of this centuries-old manual print technique with an intimate workshop in my private studio 52, 2nd Floor in the Apparatenfabriek Strijp S (full address- Torenallee 26 - Studio 52, 5617 BD Eindhoven).

Suitable for Beginners (18yrs+)
No drawing or printing experience necessary; we’ll provide everything for you to learn the technique under the guidance of illustrator Laura Carter.
You’ll be etching a plate, inking up and producing several mini prints of your own, so please: don’t come dressed in your best!
This is a simple technique and you can choose from a range of themes to etch, such as insects, landscapes and botanicals.

This workshop is open to both Dutch and English speakers.

Stap binnen in de betoverende wereld van droge naald etsen – een eeuwenoude, ambachtelijke druktechniek die garant staat voor verrassende resultaten. In deze laagdrempelige en gezellige workshop leer je stap voor stap hoe je zelf een ets maakt, helemaal vanaf de basis.
Geen ervaring met tekenen of printen? Geen probleem! Illustrator Laura Carter begeleidt je met veel aandacht en enthousiasme. Samen ga je aan de slag: krassen, inkten, afdrukken… en voor je het weet heb je jouw eigen unieke miniprints in handen.
Let op: dit is geen activiteit voor nette kleren – we gaan lekker met inkt aan de slag!
De workshop is toegankelijk voor zowel Engels- als Nederlandstalige deelnemers.
