Handling feedback and setbacks in the doctoral process

How do you condense years of work into a long-form written document such as a thesis or article for academic publication? The session will use the writing and editing chapter from the book The Mature Student's Guide to Completing a Doctorate as the basis. Attendees will also reflect on ways to make their work bulletproof and expand their writing capabilities.

Unconventional Doctorates Community and close

Our purpose is to tackle low completion rates among doctoral candidates, particularly those from underrepresented groups, who are self-funded or not working in education. You are welcome to join the community. Ways to get involved will be briefly mentioned in the session.
