Writing Huddle: Prompt Your Perfect AI Parent

What if you could rewrite your family story, using AI?

Who would you be if your parents had known exactly what to do? There are millions of novels, autobiographies, poems and essays about family life. But what if you could rewrite your family story, before it's over?

In this Writing Huddle, we're going to do something truly new. Using ChatGPT, we're going to create the parent you always wanted. It's the death of “nobody's perfect” and “you can't choose your family.”

We'll start with some exploratory writing exercises and conversations. What does it mean to be a good parent? What have we missed out on, growing up? What did others get, that we didn't? How would we parent, given the chance? But then it gets really crazy. Using our findings, we'll tell ChatGPT how to meet our needs, today.

And then – well, who knows what will happen? Will we write a beautiful dialogue with our new perfect mummy or daddy? One that heals old wounds and allows us to meet the future? Do we introduce our parents to one another and see if they'll fall in love? Maybe they'll make perfect, digital siblings. Or maybe we'll shut it all down because we'd rather choose the parents we were given in the first place.
