"Yellow Belle" contains six medium-length tracks. Hugo plays alto, but sounds amazingly similar to Evan Parker. Clara adds a delicate, yet very expressive environment for the music. Clara Lai

Huesca (1985). Pianist and composer. After an extensive journey of immersion

and exploration in the realms of classical, contemporary, jazz, and free

improvisational music, she is now an active and restless musician in the

experimental, improvised, and contemporary jazz scene in Barcelona, the city

where she currently resides.

She leads ensembles and collaborates with many prominent musicians in the

national scene, such as Oriol Roca, Àlex Reviriego, Ferran Fages, Albert Cirera,

Barbara Togander, Joan Moll, Amidea Clotet, Sarah Claman, Leonor Falcón,

Juanma Trujillo, Iván González, among many others. With connections

extending to Portugal, she has collaborated with numerous musicians from the

vibrant improvised and experimental music scene there, including José

Lencastre, João Almeida, Carlos Zingaro, Carla Santana, João Valinho, João

Lencastre, Vasco Furtado, Gonçalo Almeida, Maria do Mar and João Sousa.

She has released a variety of recordings on both national and international

record labels, where her interest in exploring timbral and instrumental harmonies

through a contemporary linguistic approach is evident, along with her

exploration of the subtle connections that exist between improvisation and

composition.
