We welcome all quant finance professionals, students and Alumni to attend this exciting event. At this edition, we especially welcome alumni of the Duisenberg School of Finance and the Duisenberg Honours Programmes.TOPICThis year will be all about Quants and Technology for Regulation. To deep dive in this theme, we have invited three interesting speakers, who will share their expertise about this topic.•Prof. Iman van Lelyveld, Senior Policy Advisor to the Dutch Central Bank will talk about data as common good.•Jordi Rustige, Advisor at the Ministry of Finance and Alumnus of the Duisenberg Honours Programme- Quantative Risk Management. The title of his talk is “If you cannot regulate: take over! Government’s perspective on regulation challenges&quot;.•Maurice Zondag, Personal Leadership coach, TED speaker, author and entrepreneur (MasterYourPersonality.com). He will talk about dealing with the well-known “quarter life crisis”, experienced by many young professionals who struggle with their life, its purpose, life goals and how to achieve them.Next to that, the Best Quant Finance Thesis Award 2019 will be awarded to one of the three finalists. The finalists will pitch their quant thesis and the winner will be decided at the event!We round up the afternoon with drinks, food and plenty of opportunities for informal networkingNote that, to be considered for the Best Quant Finance Thesis Award, students and supervisors were invited to submit their thesis to award@topquants.nl before or on October 16th, 2019.
