Getting feedback that confuses you, supervisors’ body language that makes you uncertain, or having trouble finishing writing your thesis, once the real work is done. Is good enough, or maybe you should spend the night making it even better? Your brain is working overtime, but is it still working for you, or against you?On Wednesday May 27, Igor Nikolic joins Studium Generale for an interactive talk on neurodiversity in the academic world. Not a dry lecture, but an evening full of recognition, insights, and practical tools.Because this is the reality: many students and academics experience stress, anxiety, overstimulation, focus issues, leading to study delays, and underperforming — and yet we rarely talk about the causes.Igor’s talk explores:<ul><li>Which aspects of academia are challenging to mental health.</li><li>What neurodiversity is: a superpower or kryptonite.</li><li>How sometimes small adjustments in interactions and behaviour can make a big difference.</li></ul>After the lecture, you’re invited to stay for a drinks &amp; snacks session. A moment to ask your questions, share experiences, and connect with others who might face the same challenges you do.You might recognize more than you expect. You might finally understand yourself (or someone else) a little better.
