(Tagalog: Salamat dahil nandidito ka)The word &quot;Yugtu-an&quot; is a &quot;made up&quot; word by the organizer to make the word a verb. It is from a Tagalog word &quot;yugto&quot; meaning act or stage. (may also mean chapter depending on the context)Join us each month for stimulating, nurturing, informal (relax &amp; friendly) discussion of books focussing on a wide variety of books written by Philippine-authors ranging from children’s books, history, case-studies, relationships, culture, health, poetry, real-life stories and classic literature.Curl up on the couch, OR COOK WITH US (if scheduled), grab a snack and that &quot;fita or skyflakes&quot;, pour themselves a glass of wine or &quot;lambanog&quot; if available ;), or just listen and learn with us!Yugto Bookclub exists to celebrate Philippine authors. BUT ALSO YOU WILL LEARN HOW TO USE BAYBAYIN IN DIGITAL FORM. Skill level: Everyone is welcome to participate. Recommended for ages 9 and up. For kids 9-12, adult assistance may be necessary during the workshop. For 2nd generation pinxys (who cannot understand or speak tagalog), we recommend inviting a &quot;learning buddy&quot; during the workshop. (learning buddy = person who understands the Tagalog language) PHILIPPINE LANGUAGES &amp; CULTURE ENTHUSIASTS ARE VERY WELCOME</li><li>MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT.
