The Canning Agricultural, Horticultural & Recreational Society (CAHRS) is a dedicated not-for-profit organisation and community cornerstone, proudly bringing people together in the Canning area since 1909.We are the proud organisers behind the iconic, annual Canning Show, a beloved event celebrating tradition, local agriculture, and community talent. We manage the Cannington Exhibition Centre & Showgrounds.With strong historical roots and a future-focused spirit, CAHRS delivers events and experiences year-round. The grounds are a vital community asset that provides inspiring spaces for hundreds of events, workshops, and cultural experiences annually. Whether it’s through hands-on learning, vibrant showcases, or local collaborations, we’re here to grow community, together.
