Founded by award-winning journalist Heather Cassell, Go Roam Tours combines historical research, journalism, and storytelling to uncover the hidden histories that many visitors—and even locals—never hear.

Heather has spent more than 20 years reporting on LGBTQ+ and women's issues and more than 15 years covering travel across five continents. She is the publisher and editor of Girls That Roam and a regular contributor to Bay Area Reporter and Gay City News.
