Rooting to Rise Yoga
Louise has a love for movement, mindfulness and self-discovery and has first hand experience in the power of yoga to regulate mind, body and spirit.
Louise's journey with yoga began initially as a physical exploration (hello fellow adhd-ers in search of sensation/movement/regulation!). After years of trying to outrun her own brain, she finally realised at a restorative yoga class that what she needed to was to stop and be present rather than keep rushing and running.
A perennial student, Louise loves to immerse herself in the study of yoga, daoism, traditional chinese medicine, meditation, breathwork, anatomy of movement, mobility, fascia and somatic awareness. In addition to completing a Yoga Alliance accredited 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training with YogaDublin, Louise has also completed over 200 hours of Katonah Yoga training, both in Ireland and abroad, including training with renowned international teachers such as Abbie Galvin and Dages Juvelier Keates, and 100 hours of Yin Yoga training with Grace Tempany.
When Louise isn’t practicing or reading about yoga she loves to get into the wildness of great nature and can be found climbing mountains and wild swimming whenever the opportunity arises.
