Hi, I’m Yumi from Tokyo, Japan.

Having lived in China, the U.S., and now Amsterdam, I’ve always been drawn to food and the warm moments shared around the table. For me, food is about connection — the people, the memories, and the comfort it brings.

I host intimate Japanese home-cooking classes that bring people together through simple, comforting food.

“wa” means harmony, and that spirit is at the heart of wa table — a place to share peaceful, welcoming moments through food.
