Spring 2019

You can now sell gift cards that can be redeemed for tickets to your upcoming events with the Gift Up! app.

Ticket buyers can now protect their ticket purchase during checkout through our partnership with FanShield, a Protecht company. With FanShield, all claims are processed externally – there's no extra work on your end and you’ll still be paid for the ticket purchase. Learn more here.

It’s now even easier to manage your events on the go! Recent updates to the Eventbrite Organizer app allow you search for an order across all of your events and select method of delivery when selling via the app.

Use Embedded Checkout on your website? You can now add a waitlist for attendees once your event sells out.

Winter 2019

You can now log in to Eventbrite using your Facebook account! Head over to account settings, select "Linked Accounts", and toggle the Facebook option to get started. Check out more details here.

Fall 2018

Grow your following with the new “follow” button on your organizer profile page, event page, and confirmation email. Attendees who opt in get a notification when your events go live or tickets go on sale. Take a look at your organizer profile page or event listing to check it out.

Need to know when a specific guest arrives at your venue? You can now receive a push notification when a guest checks in at your venue. Available in the Guestlist tool for Eventbrite Venue users on Android devices.

Fall 2017

You can now host the entire Eventbrite purchase flow directly on your website with our new embedded checkout tool. Ticket buyers will no longer be redirected to the event page to complete their purchase for qualifying events.

Are you an Eventbrite Venue user? If so, you can now set up both public and private discount codes in Venue the same way you would on Eventbrite.com.

You can now add tickets to an existing Facebook event, making it even easier to increase ticket sales by allowing ticket buyers to purchase directly on Facebook without needing to create a new Facebook event.

With updates to our Analytics tool, it’s now easier than ever to see what’s driving traffic and how marketing efforts are impacting ticket sales.

MailChimp Sync users can now can segment MailChimp subscriber lists based on attendee purchase activity (including genre, quantity, recency, etc.) with MailChimp’s recent eCommerce update.

> Drive additional sales through Eventbrite's marketplace and reach your attendees where they prefer to buy with SMS text outreach with Amplify’s Sell by Text.

> Get a complete picture of your events and increase the effectiveness of online event marketing campaigns with Radario’s analytics and marketing automation extension.

Summer 2017

Create targeted ad campaigns, track results, and drive additional sales all within the Eventbrite ecosystem with Promoted Listings. Promoted Listings are now available in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, London, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, San Francisco, Philadelphia, and Washington DC.

Event reports, promotional tools, and attendee information are now easier to access in a condensed, expandable format on the Manage tab.

Ticket buyers can now purchase Eventbrite tickets on Facebook using Paypal, which means they don’t have to enter credit card or billing information to complete their purchase. This can reduce drop-off and increase your conversion rate.

In addition to helping you produce events, manage ticketing operations, and promote shows, you can now create and edit your guest lists on Eventbrite Venue or from your iOS or Android device.

You can now reach 140M+ active listeners on Spotify through our global integration, which automatically promotes top Eventbrite concerts and music festivals on the popular music streaming app.

You can now reach more active event-goers through our integration with SeatGeek, a leading mobile-focused ticket marketplace. People who discover your concert or music festival on SeatGeek can purchase tickets without ever leaving SeatGeek’s app or website.

Get your money earlier by applying for scheduled payouts. Apply under “Payout Options” on the Manage tab of your event.

Need to issue refunds on the go? You will now see pending refund requests and be able to refund or decline requests directly from the Organizer App on both iOS and Android.

We understand how important event data is to the growth of your events. That’s why we’ve made your event metrics more accessible with the following launches:

>> You now have access to even more information about your event right in your inbox with improvements to the end of event email.

>> You can now see your most important metrics and easily access popular reports on the updated Event Dashboard.

The 89% of event-goers who use search to discover events will now see Eventbrite events in Google’s new discovery experience, which features select events at the top of search results.

Selling tickets to a sporting event? You can now choose from 13 different playing field options — from soccer pitches to volleyball courts — in our Reserved Seating Venue Designer.

You can now select from one of four refund policies when creating your event. Buyers will see the refund policy on your event listing, on their order confirmation, and on the My Tickets page.

Spring 2017

Staying on top of your sales just got a little easier. If you have the Android Organizer app, you’ll now get a push notification when you sell your first ticket to each event.

Bandsintown’s 30M registered users can now discover Eventbrite shows, purchase tickets, and access their ticket barcodes without ever leaving the Bandsintown app.

We know that real-time, easily accessible data is key to improving your marketing and growing your events. That’s why we’ve launched three new and improved Analytics reports:

> A Traffic report that lets you track the number of daily page views to your event listing page, and watch as you attract new potential attendees.

> A Sales Channel report that shows you the source of your ticket buyers, so you can see which traffic is converting into sales.

> A clearer view of sales by ticket type in the Sales Report, so you can see how sales of each ticket are trending and better manage your inventory.

Winter 2017

Tough to find the time to appreciate what you’ve accomplished as an event organizer? We now make it easier by putting a sales recap in your inbox after each event. (If you’re eager to keep your numbers at your fingertips, check out our Organizer app!)

If you host reserved seating events, your attendees can now pick their seat faster than ever! We’ve removed the section outlines preventing them from seeing available seats across your venue, and dramatically improved load times.

Eventbrite Venue — Eventbrite’s fully integrated venue management solution for talent booking, ticketing, and venue operations — is now available. Learn more.

If you ask attendees canned or custom questions as part of check-out, you can now sell tickets on Facebook by allowing Facebook buyers to skip your questions.

You can now create new events from anywhere using our Android Organizer app! That means you can use that idle time on your commute—or waiting for your takeout—to set up your page, create tickets, and promote via social media.

Organizers placing reserved seats on hold can now create access and discount codes allowing specific individuals to purchase held seats.

Eager to stay on top of your numbers? You can now schedule an automatic daily, weekly, or monthly email with updates on your tickets counts, gross sales, and net sales. To start scheduling, head to “Event Reports”!

Send targeted emails to Bandsintown fans based on their favorite artists and city, and promote your shows with our new Bandsintown Promoter extension.

Do you need to add sales tax to your ticket sales? Use the Tax Options tool to automatically collect taxes when you sell tickets.

If you host Reserved Seating events, you now have a new and improved dashboard to tracks sales and holds and add attendees into specific seats—all at faster speeds than ever before.

See all pending refund requests from attendees, and easily accept or decline requests. Attendees can also track the status of their refund request in the Tickets section of their account.

We updated the event dashboard to give you easy access to the most common reports, along with a short description of each report, so you know what’s inside.

Fall 2016

We’re making it easier to issue refunds. In addition to the money from your ticket sales, you can use your credit or debit card to refund your ticket buyers.

You can now place reserved seats on hold with the click of a button to “dress the house” or reserve seats for large groups and VIPs.

Publish your event listing with our new Goldstar extension onto this popular event discovery platform and expand your reach to its 6M ticket buyers, all from your Eventbrite dashboard.

Promoting your event on Facebook? You can now sell more than one ticket type on your Facebook event page with our “Add to Facebook” tool.

We removed some confusing headers from the Orders report, so you can easily find what you’re looking for when you export the report.

Navigation updates to the Analytics tool makes it easier for you to gain more insights. Check out the new chart and report of your total ticket sales and quantities sold.

Early results show that selling tickets on Facebook really does help event organizers drive additional sales through Eventbrite's marketplace. Great news! Attendees can now register for your free Eventbrite events directly on Facebook through our integration. Check it out.

Does your organization have members? Try our new extension, Join It, to sync your member lists with Eventbrite to offer special discounts to members based on their membership type.

You can delete a bunch of your discount and access codes that you don’t use from the Discount & Access code tool. It’s a great way to keep things organized.

We’re now analyzing feedback that we receive via email from attendees about their event experience. This will help us improve the events we recommend to them in the future.

You asked, we listened! We updated our event listing design based on your feedback to show your full event image and important event details above the fold on event listings.

Create larger venue maps quicker and more intuitively than ever with our new Seat Map Designer and maximize your ticket sales with reserved seating.

No coding skills required! SpaceCraft helps you create and manage beautiful, mobile-friendly websites. Event details are automatically imported from Eventbrite to keep your website up-to-date and hassle-free.

When you transfer an attendee’s order from one ticket type or event to another one, we’re now automatically copying over the information they provided on their registration form, so you don’t have to ask them again.

Summer 2016

Is managing holds as challenging as running your venue? Check out Queue by Eventbrite, a Booking Calendar built by event producers and promoters like you, designed to save you time and improve collaboration.

We made sure that the Eventbrite ticket form widget that you’ve added to your website to sell tickets adjusts properly to any screen size and device. And you can customize the color, too!

You can see a chart of your sales and the number of tickets sold for certain ticket types using the “Filter By” option in your event’s Analytics tool.

See events that are more relevant to you on the Eventbrite homepage and event directory — powered by our smart event recommendation engine.

Do attendees ask to join a team or group, after they've registered to participate as an individual in your event? Now they can click on their order on the Tickets page in their Eventbrite account and select the team or group they want to join.

You have the option to charge or not charge the difference in the ticket price cost when attendees transfer from one ticket type to another.

We’re sending friendly email reminders to buy tickets to an event, when you leave your order before completing checkout. Only people logged into their Eventbrite account receive this nudge, nudge.

Eventbrite and Facebook are partnering on a new purchase experience to let you sell tickets directly on Facebook. Check it out.

Syncing Salesforce and Eventbrite just got easier with our latest version of EventbriteSync. Get the updated extension.
