WestCal Academy®

WestCal Academy® (WestCal®), a 501(c)(3), is an education organization that helps students develop their career pathway in partnership with industry mentors and academic institutions, while tracking their success outcomes.

WestCal® encourages students to secure work experience in their declared field of major. This better assures that the individual is able to develop lucrative career pathways. The disturbing trend of college graduates unable to secure gainful employment relating to their college major is a result of a failure of gaining relevant work experience. 

The WestCal® Career Pathway Program helps meet the need for satisfying career pathway requirements to help assure that curriculum addresses career relevancy. This enables colleges to better tailor curriculum to meet industry needs. Students who complete the program will acquire practical skills and professional training. The program also helps students apply to colleges and universities under “holistic admissions.” This term applies to producing a “well-rounded” student with documentation of their work experience and community participation.

The WestCal® Career Pathway Program has a 100% success rate for students who complete all three phases.

All students may participate in all three phases of the student centric WestCal® Career Pathway Program.
