PATRICIA GUALINGA is an internationally recognised defender of the Amazon and human rights. She brings more than her personal story; she brings the lived experience of an entire community. Patricia comes from the Kichwa community of Sarayaku and has dedicated her life to protecting the rainforest from oil extraction and preserving the rights and dignity of her people. Her powerful voice is not just political—it is spiritual. Her inspiring message is one of hope, unity, and action through awareness. She reminds us that our relationship with Pachamama (Mother Earth) is sacred, and it begins within each of us. To witness Patricia speak, is to become part of a larger movement of Earth-conscious living and collective healing.
In 2012, Patricia achieved a landmark victory before the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, securing protection for the Sarayaku community against the exploitation by petroleum companies. Beyond her individual achievements, she actively supports the collective “Mujeres Amazónicas Defensoras de la Selva,” a powerful alliance of women committed to protecting the Amazon rainforest, Indigenous communities, and the rights of women and the Earth.
KURIKINDI embodies the spiritual resilience of the Kichwa people. Born into a long lineage of Kichwa shamans, he shares sacred songs, spiritual teachings and ceremonies in their most traditional form. Through his deep connection to the spirit of the forest, Kurikindi offers each attendee a portal back to the heart—both yours, and the Earth’s, with a chance to reconnect with the universal energy that sustains life.
Beyond his spiritual work, Kurikindi is a respected global advocate, speaking passionately on issues such as climate change, environmental justice, and Indigenous rights, using his voice in international forums and spiritual assemblies around the world. As a tireless defender of the Amazon rainforest, he has long resisted the encroachment of petrol companies in Ecuador, standing firm in the protection of both his people and the sacred land they steward.
Kurikindi is a guardian of the Rights of Mother Earth and a committed proponent of Sumak Kawsay—the “Good Way of Life”. He serves on the boards of esteemed international organizations such as the Mother Earth Delegation and the Wisdom Keepers, and is currently dedicated to teaching shamanism across the UK and globally. Kurikindi reminds us that Earth is not a resource—it is a relative, a teacher, and a living spirit.
