Jesse van der Velde

Jesse van der Velde has been training with different shamans for the last 4 years. His path of working with the sacred plants started when a friend of him brought him to a Lakota tradition trained shaman, who had been holding sweatlodges and tipi ceremonies for more than 30 years. Jesse attended ceremonies with this shaman on an almost monthly basis. A year later, he attended the "Light Body School", founded by Alberto Villoldo, PhD, to train with the Q'ero Shamans from the High Andes in Peru.

He learned the practice of Shamanic Energy Medicine from the Q'ero Shamans, the last descendants of the Inca's. During this training, he received the 9 rites of the Munay-Ki, energetic initiations from the Q'ero. He has trained and joined ceremonies with different shamans from different traditions, like the Huni Kuin.

Jesse holds joyful but truthful ceremonies where the inner work is done, and where there's space for all people and emotions. Finding your connection within, being honest with what's happening and surrendering to the process is what's asked.
