Miuz Gelato Artigianale
Miuz is an Italian gelateria in Amsterdam, where gelato is produced from scratch, using only fresh, seasonal and selected products that are sourced as locally as possible.
All gelato is made following the traditional artisanal Italian process, and to create the best texture, smoothness and flavour we use balance, craftmanship, the finest ingredients and the best equipment. Then, the result is an explosion of taste and creaminess, supported by an awareness of respect for the planet.
In our laboratory we only work with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Some, like strawberries and milk, come from within the Netherlands. Others come from the best producers in Italy, such as pistacchios from Bronte in Sicily. Our cacao and coffee beans come from some of the world’s best producers. Whatever the origin, best quality ingredients mark the foundation of Miuz.
We love making gelato but we want to contribute to our world to give our work a meaning. We know our choices can have a big impact on the environment and our bodies. That’s why we work with local suppliers as much as we can to reduce transport emissions and support local businesses. We choose responsibly for local, biological, pesticide-free products & recyclable packaging materials. Our packaging materials are 100% recyclable or compostable.
