Newburgh Urban Farm and Food, Inc.

The Newburgh Urban Farm and Food, Inc. actively works to build a fair and resilient food system in Newburgh. NUFFI manages the Downing Park Urban Farm under a long-term lease with the City of Newburgh, focusing on providing the community with access to fresh, nutritious produce while also offering educational opportunities for youth and residents to learn about urban agriculture. Additionally, NUFFI addresses food insecurity challenges through the Newburgh Food Project, an initiative that has collected critical data on food distribution in Newburgh to identify gaps in the food access system. Its goal is to work with the community to determine and implement solutions to food security challenges.
