Round & Round is a community and a summer party brand representing historic Coney Island Beach and its diverse musical and artistic talents in unique venues.

Our mission is simple. Coney Island Beach is under represented in the music and dance sector. We are here to change that through grassroots and organic persistence. We are here to dance, sing, play, create art, share space, respect one another, love each other, share joy and most importantly unite!

BEHIND THE BRAND

Alex Kofman or "Kofman" is the man behind Round & Round and a Coney Island native for over 30 years with about as many he has been involved with nightlife and DJing in NYC, US, and abroad! For many years an outcast in a Coney Island completely deprived of music outside the mainstream, Kofman gave up on Coney Island for a moment. Since then, has seen first hand the transformation of his neighborhood in front of his eyes. Some for the better some for the worse but through it all Kofman has been canvasing the area for venues to host events for years. In May of 2024 Kofman met a former high school alumni Alexey and his wife Jamila who held a lease at the Amphitheater rooftop where they began organizing small dance music oriented events. They organized a handful of events throughout that summer but unfortunately the venue did not renew the lease. A year has past since then and a lot has changed! Alexey and Jamila are now the lease holder of both Coney Island Art Walls as well as Bar Society Rooftop where Kofman and Round & Round has landed for the summer season of 2025!
