We are a team of highly experienced Psychologists and Psychological Therapists here at University Hospitals Tees (UHT) who bring a wealth of expertise from their work across various NHS services. We offer Psychological Training and Consultation to professionals and groups both in the NHS and in external organisations. - Mental Health, which includes the following workshops: What is Mental Health & why is it everyone's responsibility?; What is suicide & why it is everyone's responsibility?; Introduction to Psychology First Aid; Understanding and Optimising Sleep; Supporting patients with Anxiety; Supporting patients with Depression; Working Psychologically with Pain; Managing Challenging Behaviour in Clinical Settings; Supporting patients with Loss and Grief.
- Staff Wellbeing, which includes the following workshops: Wellbeing Coordinator Training; Wellbeing at Work: Using the How am I? Toolkit; Using Self-Compassion to protect against Burnout and Compassion Fatigue; Self-Care and Stress Management with Personal Wellbeing Plans.
- Communication Skills, which includes the following workshops: Sage and Thyme Communication Skills; Empathic Listening Skills; Delivering and Managing Difficult Conversations in Clinical Settings; Rolling with Resistance: Motivating patients who are reluctant to change; Introducing Assertiveness Skills; An introduction to Cognitive Behavioural Approaches.
- Diversity, which includes the following workshops: Supporting our Neurodivergent Patients (Autism and ADHD); Supporting our Neurodivergent Staff (Autism and ADHD).
- Trauma informed Care, which includes the following workshops: Trauma informed teams; Understanding the Psychological Impact of Traumatic Experiences; Psychosocial Debriefing
